ALAN MANNING
Professor in Economics at the London School of Economics. He has been visiting scholar at MIT in Boston and visiting research fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. He heads the Labour Markets Programme of the Centre for Economic Performance, LSE. He is a member of the editorial committees of prestigious scientific journals. His research interests concern: the labour market, minimum salaries, unemployment and monopsony. He is the author of numerous scientific articles, his publications including: Monopsony in Motion: Imperfect Competition in Labor Markets, Princeton University Press, 2003.
