Palazzo Geremia
The Palazzo, one of the most picturesque renaissance buildings in Trentino, looks out over what was once called the ‘Contrada Larga’, the main road which leads into the magnificent Piazza Duomo. The frescoes on the façade illustrate scenes which could frequently have been observed along the ‘via triumphalis’, when Emperors and Princes passed through the city, coming down from Germany or on their way back there. The building currently houses the representative offices of the Municipality of Trento. The halls and internal spaces are used for public meetings, conference, debates and exhibitions. The garden is situated behind the building and the Culture Department of the Municipality of Trento looks out over it.
